Fresh Coconuts

Fresh coconuts are moderate in salicylates and amines.  The flesh can be eaten raw, cooked  or used to make coconut milk.

To use coconut in your cooking, refer to these recipes:

Cracking open coconuts, grated coconut, toasted coconut and coconut water

Coconut milk and coconut pulp

Fresh coconut is moderate in salicylates and amines inthe new RPAH elimination handbook. Do you know about the amine and salicylate content in coconut wate/juicer?

Hi Karina,I don’t know what the amine and salicylate content of coconut water is but I assume it would contain both as the flesh develops from the water over time. I haven’t used it because it is an unknown.
