This is my last post before Christmas. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my followers! I hope to see you all in the new year.
I’ve had a lot of fun with this blog; and its been good therapy as well. I’m glad that I’ve been able to share our experiences with others in a similar position and those who are just interested in cooking and kids. Its been great to get your feedback and comments.
We are spending Christmas day at home just the four of us (the fourth is our dog Dermie, above). Our menu is all planned. Buckwheat pancakes with maple syrup, ricotta and bananas for breakfast. For lunch we are having a seafood BBQ with salmon and scallops and for dessert a tropical pavlova roll with fresh coconut and mango. (So now you know what my next post will be!)
This pair of Tawny Frog Mouths took up residence on our chimney last weekend. It turns out they had a chick with them. They’ve moved on now, so Santa will be able to deliver our presents.

Hope he makes it to your place as well!
