A quick dessert recipe to use up left over hot cross buns.
- Home made hot cross buns (Refer to Special Occasions page)
- Vanilla custard (warm or cold)
- Fresh fruit (sliced)
|1.||Cut the hot cross buns in half and toast under a griller.|
|2.||Place the bottom half of the hot cross bun in a bowl. Pour a bit of custard over the top, add a layer of fruit, then the top of the hot cross bun.|
|3.||Drizzle the bun with some more custard and serve with some extra fruit.|
